Blue Checkbox iOS application
Effective Date: 29.06.2025
At Blue Checkbox, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our mobile application (“App”) and our website https:/blue-checkbox.com (“Website”). By using the App or Website, you agree to the terms outlined here.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require users to create an account or provide personal information to use the App. The app does not collect, store, or transmit personal data to our servers.
Any information users input into the App (such as forms or inspection data) is stored locally on the device and is not shared unless the user chooses to do so (e.g., via email, printing, or file sharing).
2. Local App Features
- PIN Protection: Users can optionally set a PIN code to prevent unauthorized deletion of data. This PIN is stored securely on the device and is never transmitted externally.
- Email Reports: If users choose to send reports via email, the app uses the user’s default email app. We do not access or store email addresses or email content.
3. In-App Purchases
The App offers optional premium features via Apple In-App Subscriptions, managed through RevenueCat. RevenueCat handles subscription validation and may collect non-personal metadata such as subscription status. No personally identifiable information (PII) is transmitted to us.
For more information, refer to RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy:
https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
4. Analytics and Crash Reporting
- Firebase Analytics (by Google)
- Crashlytics (by Firebase)
- Google Analytics (for website metrics)
These tools may collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the app and user experience. No data collected through these services will personally identify you.
5. No Advertising
The App and Website do not display third-party advertisements and do not use ad tracking technologies.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. RevenueCat is the only third-party SDK used, and it only processes data related to subscription status, as described above.
7. Children’s Privacy
While the App does not contain inappropriate content, it is designed for professional users and is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
8. Data Security
All data you create stays on your device unless you actively choose to export or share it. We apply reasonable safeguards to protect against unauthorized access or loss of data stored in the App. However, please note that no digital system is entirely secure.
9. Your Rights
As the app does not collect or store personal data externally, most data protection rights (such as access, correction, or deletion of data stored on servers) do not apply.
You retain full control of the data stored locally on your device. You may delete your data at any time from within the App.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and post the updated policy on our Website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
